5 Star Inspections is locally owned and operated by Ray Horn, TREC #20600. We are professional home inspectors who are trained and certified by the American Home Inspector Training Program. Our comprehensive home inspection includes nearly 400 different items that affect the safety, condition, and value of a home.
We are a Disabled, Veteran-Owned Business and support many local Veteran organizations and other non-profit organizations in the community. Ray served 24 years on active duty, and has more than 40 years of experience in real estate transactions, rental property, and construction of manufactured housing, with an electrical and plumbing background.
We are “First Responder, Law Enforcement, and Military” friendly, and will negotiate discounts when called. Ray has been in the El Paso and military community for more than 18 years and has a thorough knowledge of the transitions associated with these professions. We respect and value the opportunity to work in the real estate community for buyers and sellers alike. We look forward to earning your respect and business.
Our reputation is based on these four principles:
1. Integrity - It is our job to be honest and thorough when doing an inspection, regardless of who referred you to us. Our inspection reports are never tainted by the possibility of interrupting a sale, and we firmly believe that disclosing any issues up front empowers you and your real estate agent to work through to a positive outcome with a seller or a buyer.
2. Caring - We treat our customers like friends and we inspect their home as if it was our own. We understand that a real estate transaction can be stressful, so we give every customer who calls our time, care, and attention. Ray inspects every home and shows you, the customer, what he sees.
3. Education - Getting a clean inspection report when purchasing a home is definitely the best of all possible outcomes. We believe that understanding how to care for your home through preventive maintenance, as well as knowing how to spot potential issues before they become big ones after you close is also part of our job.
4. Customer Satisfaction - Buying a home is a huge investment. If you are not totally satisfied with the inspection, we'll make it right before we close the deal. We're confident that you'll like the quality, education, and service we provide.
Our clients' satisfaction is important to us!
"I make it a point to be available and responsive to any concern from my clients. I understand my reputation means everything and I want to exceed your expectations."
